Product Management Leadership Summit - December 1, 2010 |
| |
|
 |
BY INVITATION ONLY
New York City
The Product Management Executive Board presents the second annual Product Management Leadership Summit. The theme for this Summit is Product Management Sustainability. The need to focus on this topic became apparent as we analyzed our 2010 benchmark research data, and from hundreds of observations in working with Product Management organizations. Some of the findings from these activities indicate the following:
- People working in other functions are not clear about the purpose, methods, and role of Product Management resulting in role confusion and mixed priorities across functions.
- Existing products are not consistently managed in an optimal manner.
- Techniques to manage product performance are ineffective and do not serve to guide strategies.
- A standard model for governance of Product Management is not evident.
This will be one of the most important events ever presented by The Product Management Executive Board - Product Management and Marketing executives across a diverse industry landscape will get together to network, share best practices, and learn, in a vibrant environment. Participants will also benefit by being able to address the key issues that stand in the way of sustaining Product Management for the long term.
Summit Topics Include:
Program 1 - Product Management Organizational Development Research Findings
Program 2 - Engaging Product Managers
Program 3 - Optimizing In-market Products
Program 4 - Product Performance Measures
Panel Discussion - Effective Practices to Sustain Product Management
